Merritt is a natural storyteller. His characters are so believable, and the plots just unfold naturally, pulling you along. [He] has this ability to pick you up and set you down in a locale. You aren’t reading a book, you’re there, and it’s all happening around you. This is the third of his stories I’ve read and I feel compelled to read them all.
